NEW YORK: Trading volume in US Comex gold futures hit an all-time high on Monday, as gold prices plunged for a second straight session.
Turnover in CME's gold futures in the COMEX division of NYMEX was at 689,000 lots, preliminary Reuters data showed, surpassing the previous record at 486,315 lots on Nov. 28, 2012.
