KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, has nominated Khan Yousuf Jamal, Dr. S.M. Qureshi and Prof. Dr. Noman Ahmed as members of the Senate of Sindh Madresstul Islam University (SMIU) for a period of three years.

An SMIU official said that a notification in this regard was issued on Friday by the Governor who is also the Chancellor of the institution.

It was pointed out that the Sindh Madressatul Islam was upgraded to the University level in February last year.

After that its Syndicate was formed and the important body of Senate has now come into being.
