Jashan-e-Baharan 2013 begins at Jilani Park

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Jashan-e-Baharan at Jillani Park, he called upon citizens to take active part in such programmes.

 

He also announced the formal launching of Jashan-e-Baharan programmes. While, the enthusiastic youth presented beautiful dance on the beat of drums, balloons were released in the air and the entire park was packed with public.

 

The chief minister congratulated political leaders, Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) and the Lahore district administration for arranging excellent programmes of Jashan-e-Baharan for citizens.

 

Later, the chief minister inaugurated Special Education Park at the Jillani Park and said the Punjab government had made arrangements of international standard for the recreation, training and sports for the special children and termed it a revolutionary step.

 

On this occasion, the PHA director general said Jashan-e-Baharan programems would continue till March 23, adding that 30 programmes would be held at difference places, including Lahore City Parade on March 23, and culture of Lahore would be highlighted through these programmes.
