Talking to media persons after attending the JUI-F's All Parties Conference here, Kaira said, "The government has always supported the idea of holding talks with the people, who accept the government's writ and the Constitution".

He said the government had a clear stance that terrorism should be dealt with three "Ds" i.e., development, dialogue and deterrence.

The Information Minister, welcoming the communique of All Parties Conference, said the negotiation process should continue.

The government will support every step that is in the interest of country, he added.

He said that all the political and religious forces wanted peace in the country and elimination of the menace of terrorism.

Kaira said the conference would help the political parties having no representation in the Parliament to devise a policy for elimination of terrorism.

Replying to a question, he said in some way or the other, all political parties were part of the government.

Consequent to the steps taken by the government, there is no safe haven for terrorists in the country, he added.

Answering another question, he said the government was taking steps to enforce the parliamentary resolutions.
