SHC issues notice to PM for alleged interference in Baldia fire case

According to reports, a petition has been submitted in the court by a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) requesting the court to declare the interference by the Prime Minister as illegal, following which the court issued notices to four concerned authorities including Ayub Qazi, the Principal Secretary of Prime minister, Chief secretary Sindh, IG Sindh, and Home Secretary.

All of them have been directed to appear before the court on February 14.

It may be mentioned that the murder charges against the factory owners had been dropped on the directives of PM Ashraf.
