IRSA releases 63,800 cusecs for rim stations

ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Friday released 63,800 cusecs water from various rim stations with

According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1450.97 feet, which was 72.97 feet higher than its dead level 1378 feet.

 

Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 16,500 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 25,000 cusecs.

 

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1137.95 feet, which was 97.95 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 7,625 cusecs and 10,000 cusecs respectively.

 

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 35,734, 35,473 and 13,850 cusecs respectively.

 

Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 11,500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 17,300 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
