He directed that steps be taken for advance technical sweeping and clearance along the routes of processions and venues of `Majalis' as well as the parking areas.

The IGP called for deployment of additional policemen at Imam- Bargahs, mosques and venues of Majalis. Policemen in plain clothes be also deployed.

He further instructed that checking at the entrance and exit points of the city be strengthened further.

Leghari also called for coordinated and effective random snap checking and patrolling.
