Two Pak Army soldiers martyred, militant killed in North Waziristan

(Karachi) A militant was killed while two army soldiers, including a captain, embraced martyrdom during exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in South Waziristan, a statement issued by ISPR stated.

The martyred Pakistan Army officials were identified as Captain Sabih and Sepoy Naveed. In addition, two army soldiers also suffered injuries.

The terrorists opened fire on security forces personnel and in retaliation, Pak Army responded befittingly and destroyed the hideout of the militants.

Earlier, two personnel of the security forces were martyred in an attack on security check-post in Eidak area in Mirali tehsil in North Waziristan district.

Unidentified gunmen attacked the security forces check-post located on the main road in Eidak area in Mirali tehsil. As a result, Havaldar Zafar and soldier Asif embraced martyrdom.
