13-year-old girl embraces martyrdom as Indian troops target civilians along LoC

(Karachi) A 13-year-old girl embraced martyrdom while two of her family members were injured in Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The victim was identified as Iqra.

The Indian troops resorted to firing on civilian population in Hajipir and Bedori sectors along the LoC, said a statement issued by the ISPR.

“A 13 yrs old girl, village Mehnsar, Bedori Sector, embraced shahadat, her mother & 12 yrs old boy got injured,” the ISPR statement added.

Meanwhile, the ISPR statement stated that Pakistani troops responded timely to the unprovoked Indian aggression.

The Indian forces have continuously been targeting civilian population along the LoC and working boundary. The Foreign Office has summoned Indian officials several times to condemn the unprovoked firing.
