Sindh reported on Thursday 48 deaths which is its highest number of deaths recorded in a single day due to coronavirus.

In his daily coronavirus update, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said he was very sad by these deaths. He said the total number of deaths in Sindh have reached 964. Shah said 664 patients are in critical condition while 97 are on ventilator.

The CM further said 2286 new cases were also reported. He said so far 340487 people have been tested out of which 62269 people have been infected.
