Pakistanis stranded in UAE to return as PIA flight schedule release

  • According to the schedule, from June 11 to June 15, 22 special flights carrying 7,000 Pakistanis will reach Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, and Peshawar where coronavirus tests and data of passengers will be taken.

7,000 Pakistanis stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will return home in five days after the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis released the schedule of special flights of PIA.

According to the schedule, from June 11 to June 15, 22 special flights carrying 7,000 Pakistanis will reach Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, and Peshawar where coronavirus tests and data of passengers will be taken.

Passengers arriving in Pakistan will now be quarantined at home and will be provided COVID-19 test reports at home.

About 20,000 Pakistanis have returned from the UAE so far, while more than 50,000 Pakistanis are still awaiting repatriation.
