After former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz's (PML-N) Marriyum Aurangzeb has also tested positive for coronavirus.

The PML-N spokesperson and her mother MNA Tahira Aurangzeb both have contracted coronavirus. Both of them have quarantined themselves at home.

On Monday, Abbasi and Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry also got tested after Abbasi was diagnosed with the virus.

Chaudhry later announced that he also tested positive for the virus.

Earlier, Sardar Dur Mohammad Nasar, senior vice president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) passed away after battling coronavirus.
