KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 16687.98 with a positive change of 42.22 and volume of 31,705,940 shares.

High and Low were 16696.22 and 16645.76 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 45,766,240 shares with 240 total traded companies out of which 136 were up, 92 were down and 12 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks were the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,420,500 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 8,614,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Askari Bank with a volume of 10,894,000 and price per share of 19.00 (0.16), TRG Pakistan Ltd. with a volume 2,691,000 of price per share of 5.48 (0.06), Pak Elektron Ltd.with a volume 2,034,000 of price per share of 10.25 (0.36).

The top three advancers were Mithchells Fruit with price per share of 378.00 (8.00), Gillette Pak with price per share of 102.42 (4.87) and Attock Petroleum Ltd price share of 510.00 (4.25).

The top three decliners were AL-Ghazi Tractors with price per share of 235.00 (-7.36), AL-Noor Suger with price per share of 42.90 (-2.23) and Pak.Int.Cont. SD with price per share of 213.00 (-2.19).
