British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan met legendary all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi and said that Afridi is his good friend. Amir Khan landed in Karachi on Monday. Last week, Amir inaugurated a boxing academy at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
According to media reports, the meeting remained cordial as the two heartthrobs exchanged views on their respective professions coupled with some other things. The two posed generously and joyously for snaps for fan-feeding.
The boxer met the cricketer Afridi and they both took to official Twitter to share their interaction. After their meeting, Afridi tweeted, “I’m ready for a new career. My right hook is deadly.. just ask @AmirKingKhan. It was good meeting him today”.
While, Amir tweeted, “Good to see my bro @SAfridiOfficial in Karachi”. However, Afridi also commented on his official Facebook page, “It was nice meeting you today Amir Khan!”
The ‘Amir Khan Boxing Academy’ was launched in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to train young emerging boxers.
