Siblings Shraddha Kapoor and Siddhanth Kapoor have gifted father Shakti Kapoor with 400 dvds of his film and are on the search for the remaining 300, according to a Pinkvilla.com.
Shakti Kapoor has been a part of 700 films and was gifted with DVDs of 400 of them by his children who took the help of their mother, Shivangi, to source all of these DVDs.
"I was shocked, pleasantly so, as this special gift encapsuled my years as an actor. Collecting them must have been hard work. My wife Shivangi helped too, it was a combined effort."
"Right now they are safe in the cupboard. We'll watch the films together. My children's children too can watch their granddad's work", he added.
Source revealed that the DVDs include films such as Qurbani, Meri Awaz Suno, Raja Babu, Andaz Apna Apna, Satte Pe Satta amongst many others and according to Shakti, it will a "nostalgic trip about how I landed the roles and filmed them."
Another interesting tidbit of information reported by the daily was that while Shakti and his family were en route to Hong Kong for their first family vacation in a decade, they ran into Aamir Khan at the airport who rued the fact that he was unable to find Andaz Apna Apna's Crime Master GoGo T-shirt and Siddhanth who had overheard the conversation gifted the overwhelmed actor the said shirt as per Shakti.
On being asked whether he was planning to give any return gifts to his children, Shakti said,
"I keep on giving them gifts, but this time I'll surprise them too. I still have all their clothes from childhood--Shraddha's frocks and Siddhanth's Tees. Maybe I would gift wrap them."
