Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who caught swine flu while shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in Gujarat, has been transferred to a hospital in Mumbai.
According to Indian media reports, Dr Ram Narian, CEO of Kokilaben Hospital Mumbai, confirmed the buzz, “Sonam Kapoor admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, transferred from Rajkot. H1N1 positive, on treatment and stable in the ward”.
The actress had been running high temperature for over three days while shooting for the Salman Khan-starrer. She was advised to undergo the swine flu test and tested positive. She probably contracted swine flu from her physical trainer in Mumbai who has also tested positive for the same virus.
Kapoor is likely to stay in hospital for at least five days, which is the normal course of treatment, to be followed by further rest of about four to five days.
