sindh KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has felicitated the nation on Pakistan Day.

Talking to media persons here Friday after offering fateha at the Mazar-e-Quaid on Pakistan Day, he said a historical movement was started on March 23, 1940 for creation of an Islamic welfare state for the Muslims of the sub continent.

He said the dream came true after seven years' struggle under the leadership of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Pakistan was created on August 14, 1947.

He said "we all should work for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan"
