HYDERABAD: The office bearers of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) have criticised hours long load shedding and acute shortage of water supply and demanded of the government to take immediate notice and provide sigh of relief to citizens of Hyderabad.
In a statement issued here on Saturday evening, the President HCSTSI Muhammad Akram Ansari, Senior Vice President Sikandar Ali Rajput, Vice President Doulat Ram and members of the Executive Committee said that HESCO management had promised uninterrupted power supply during Iftaar, taraveeh and sehri times but the management had failed to fulfil its promise and the citizens of Hyderabad are experiencing great hardship during the month of Ramzan.
Besides, they said that several hours unannounced load shedding in various parts of Hyderabad also halted the business activities while the citizens have also been deprived of drinking water due to negligence of WASA.
They demanded of the Federal Minister for Water and Power and Sindh Chief Minister to take notice of the grievances being experienced by the people of Hyderabad and asked the department concerned to provide relief to them.
