Shoaib Malik hits out at Ahmed Shehzad

Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik hits back at Ahmed Shehzad after the opener congratulated the all-rounder for becoming the highest runs getter for Pakistan in Twenty20.

The veteran all-rounder made the headlines despite Pakistan lost the match against World XI. Malik smashed 39 off 23 deliveries with three sixes and one boundary in the second T20I to become the leading runs sorer for Pakistan in Twenty 20 internationals.

This was Malik’s 82nd innings in this format of the game, his total runs tally in international T20s raised to 1702 runs, 12 more than Umar Akmal.

Shehzad was among the players, who congratulated Malik for achieving this feat. Shehzad wrote on twitter, “Lahore is great so as you. What an achievement in this historical series. Congratulations to brother Shoaib Malik.”
