ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) to distribute quota among private Hajj operators according to policy.
The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali heard the case filed by new tour operators.
During the course of proceedings, the counsel for tour operators told the court that the Religious Ministry was not implementing high court verdict.
The chief justice remarked that the Religious Ministry was bound to implement the high court's verdict.
The chief justice directed the ministry to distribute Hajj quota according to Rules and Policy and adjourned hearing of the case for an indefinite period.
