ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of Haj corruption case for two weeks.
The three-member bench headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer comprising Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Umar Ata Bandial resumed hearing of the case.
Justice Anwar Zaheer remarked that the court had earlier issued a show cause notice to the officers for showing neglegence in case but they did not bother to respond to the notice.
The bench also expreesed annoyance over Ministry of Religious Affairs officials for not submitting compliance report despite court order. Justice Anwar directed the officers to submit their reply in the next hearing.
