MULTAN: Fifty-three fresh cases of gastroenteritis were reported from various public sector hospitals here on Thursday.
As many as 39 cases were reported from Children Complex, nine from Nishtar Medical Institute, three from Civil Hospital and two landed at Fatima Jinnah Hospital for Women, health department sources said.
Meanwhile, 17 patients were discharged and no Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD) case was reported today, the source informed.
