imageISLAMABAD: Analysts from Pakistan and India have urged the two countries to resolve their outstanding issues and enhance bilateral trade for betterment of their peoples.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, analyst Rasool Bakhsh Rais said that Pakistan always desired to have meaningful dialogue with India for resolving all bilateral disputes, including Kashmir.

Appreciating the positive gestures being demonstrated by two sides, he hoped that Pakistan and India will soon resume composite dialogue process.

He said the change of government in India should not have any negative effect on the bilateral relations.

Indian analyst Nilofar Suharwardy also said the two countries need to resolve their outstanding issues for the progress and prosperity of their peoples. She added that economic diplomacy between the two countries needs to be promoted.

Nilofar said an improvement in Pak-Indian ties will contribute to development of the South Asian region.

Analyst Dr. Shoail Mehmood said that Pakistan wants to improve relations with India and enhancing bilateral trade volume. Kashmir issue should also be resolved through dialogue, he added.

Lauding the government's efforts to improve relations with India, he said upcoming visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Pakistan will bring the two countries closer.
