Rain emergency: SITE Town cancels leaves of employees

KARACHI: Soon as the rain started in Karachi late last night, the SITE town Municipal Administration canceled the leaves of all its officials and employees declaring rain emergency in the town.

Administrator of the town Imran Aslam directed the concerned staff on Monday during his visit to union council number 4 to inspect work on draining of rainwater to focus on cleaning of storm water drains and manholes.

He called for using machinery and in case machinery is not available at some places, the manpower should be used.

He directed to submit report on daily basis about the public complaints.
