Senior citizen gunned down

KARACHI: An elderly man was gunned down in Korangi Town on Saturday.

60-years-old Ghulam Hussain S/o Muhammad Bux, resident of Sector-33-E, Korangi 2/1-2 was gunned down by the unidentified armed men near Usman Ghani Masjid in the limit of Korangi Town Police Station.

The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for postmortem.

Police said victim received four bullets and died before he could be taken to hospital.

The deceased was associated with Tableeghi Jamaat.

Separately, 30-years-old Wajhat S/o Iftikhar was wounded in a road mishap near UP Intersection New Karachi as he was crossing the road.

The injured was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
