The two Canadian music stars Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger shocked fans when they decided to tie the knot in 2012. However, it seems that the one-year marriage may sadly be coming to an end.
As source close to the couple reveals, “It’s over. He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing”.
The couple wed in a private ceremony in the South of France in July 2013. This is Kroger’s first marriage, and Lavigne was previously married to ‘Sum 41’ singer Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009, media reported.
Last July Avril tweeted her thrill of receiving a huge 17 carat diamond ring from Chad as a first year anniversary gift. They also collaborated on the song ‘Let Me Go’, the third single from her fifth studio album.
So far there has been no official confirmation of the couple's plans to divorce but it happens this would be the second divorce for Avril Lavigne.
