According to the Hollywood Reporter Sony Pictures are in talks with Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle to helm the Steve Jobs biopic, penned by Aaron Sorkin.
The producers initially approached David Fincher for the film, based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography, but the latter backed out due to dispute over salary demands and marketing control.
Furthermore, it has also been claimed Boyle has approached Leonardo DiCaprio to play the lead role in the biopic.
If all works well, this will be the second film of Boyle and Dicaprio, who have previously worked together on ‘The Beach’.
