Several media has been reporting that telly sweethearts Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel have parted ways after two years of dating. Fondly called ‘Upma’ by their fans, the pair began dating in 2014, during their stint on the eighth season of reality show, Bigg Boss. However, actor Upen Patel denies all the alleged speculations.
The news caught fire when Upen took to Twitter to announce their separation. He tweeted, “Me and Karishma have both agreed to part ways. Thank you for all your love (sic)”.
However, Patel deleted the tweet by Sunday and in his second tweet he said,
A SpotboyE report claims that Karishma's growing friendship with ‘Hero’ actor Sooraj Pancholi could be one of the reasons why the couple is finding it tough to stick together.
While, Upen told Times of India, “We are not here to prove anything to anybody. As public figures, our personal life is always under scrutiny, but we are more concerned about our feelings and families. What people say is immaterial and I don’t really care about it”.
Last year during dance reality show, ‘Nach Baliye’ Upen proposed Karishma with a ring on national television, while they were both co-contestants on the show. The couple also hosted reality show, MTV Love School when they turned love gurus for the contestants.
