YANGON: US President Barack Obama began talks Friday with Myanmar's democracy champion Aung San Suu Kyi at her lakeside villa in Yangon, an AFP reporter said.
The meeting comes as the opposition leader is pushing to overturn a constitutional rule that bars her from running for the presidency in the nation's landmark elections next year.
