LONDON: Scotland sees its future as "part of the EU", First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said on Friday following a forecast Brexit victory in the EU referendum, which she had earlier indicated could precipitate Scottish independence.
"Scotland sees its future as part of the EU," Sturgeon was quoted by Sky News as saying, telling the BBC: "Scotland clearly and decisively voted to remain part of the European Union, 62 to 38 (perecnt)".
