ISLAMABAD: Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior, A. Rehman Malik on Tuesday directed for elaborate security measures in the Capital.
He made these directions while chairing a high level meeting held to review law and order as well as security situation in the federal capital, Islamabad in view of the recent killings in Swat, Bannu and Lahore.
According to a press release issued here, he directed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Bani Amin Khan to ensure more security and protect the lives and property of the residents of Islamabad.
