KARACHI: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf met Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan at the Governor House here on Wednesday evening.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was also present on the occasion.
The Governor briefed the Prime Minister about the Sindh Peoples Local Government Bill passed by the Sindh Assembly.
Appreciated the passage of the bill with an overwhelming majority, the Prime Minister hoped it would be the first step towards the development of the province as well as the country.
