Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad who is famous for his ‘Selfies’ clarified that selfies is a way to stay connected with his fans. ‘Selfie King’ Ahmed Shehzad took to Twitter to answer those who have criticized his habit of taking selfies, saying his fans love him no matter what.
Shehzad tweeted, “Selfie is my way to show my fans that I’m not a self centered or a rude person and always try to remain in touch through my pics. #FansAreInHeart”.
The cricketer continued taking his selfies at the recent T20 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe too in Lahore, and this time it is captured in film.
Batsman Ahmed Shehzad also thanked his fans for always supporting him. He posted further on Twiiter, “On my Selfies, Haters were trying to make me weak but my fans have made it my strength. Thank you genius people #FansAreInHeart”.
Ahmed Shehzad was criticized by the people whenever he posted a selfie with Shahid Afridi on micro-blogging website Twitter during the World Cup 2015 where Pakistan lost its first two matches.
