ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek sit-ins are causing loss of billions of rupees to the national economy every day.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said, China President was scheduled to visit Pakistan to make invest of $ 34 billion in various projects including energy sectors.
He said an agreement of 15000 mw was expected to sing during China president?s visit to Pakistan. He said that the organizers of the sit-ins want to create hindrance in the Chinese investment in the country. The Minister said PTI and PAT chief are following the agenda of anti-state and democratic forces. He regretted Imran Khan is involving Pakistan army and judiciary in the politics. PTI chief Imran Khan and his leaders are ignoring countrymen trapped in floods, he added.
Abid Sher Ali said PTI and PAT are working against the interest of the country. He said politics of sit-ins should be stopped. He urged PIT chief to work for the welfare of the people.
