ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Tuesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 54.56 points and closed at 3,852.93 points.
A total of 2,500 shares were traded, which were down by 1,700 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 4,2000 shares.
Out of 141 companies, share prices of 69 companies recorded increase while share prices of 72 companies registered decrease where as no company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs 50.00 per share while the share prices of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan decreased by Rs 38.03 per share.
Askari Bank, Engro Corporation and Silk Bank remained the top trading companies in Tuesday's trading with 1,000, 1,000 and 500 shares respectively.
