KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh conducted targeted raids in different parts of metropolis, during which 2 accused were killed in an encounter while 11 were arrested.
The Rangers conducted intelligence based operations in Nawa Lane Lyari, Orangi, Shah Faisal and Jamshed Town. Two terrorists affiliated with Lyari Gangs, Wasi Lakhu Faction of Ustad Taju Group were killed in exchange of fire with Rangers at Nawa Lane Lyari, while in targeted raids 8 criminals were arrested including 2 target killers of a political party. Rangers also recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession.
Rangers also apprehended 3 suspects during snap checking in Gaddap, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Malir Town areas and recovered arms from their possession.
