ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 10 outlaws and 44 encroachers from various areas of the city and recovered 2.220 kilogram hashish, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Secretariat police arrested bootleggers Mushtaq and recovered three wine bottles from him. Ramana police arrested drug peddler Waziir and recovered 1.200 kilogram hashish from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested three accused Iftikhar, Adnan and Usman for having weapons and eight cans of beer from them.
Police team also arrested two afghan nationals namely Faryad and Khanzada residing illegally in the country.
Sabzi Mandi Police arrested 44 accused for erecting encroachments and blocking roads. Shehzad Town police arrested Khalid Khan and recovered 30 bore pistol from him. CIA police arrested drug peddler Tahir Raza and recovered 1.20 kilogram hashish from him.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
