PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the departments of home, relief, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), divisional and district administrations for making arrangements to deal with rains, floods and losses. Issuing directives for making full and effective arrangements in this regard, he clarified that prior measures could minimize the losses of human lives and properties of the people.
The chief minister also stressed need for keeping close and effective coordination with met office and other federal government organizations and taking of measures in light of their forecast and recommendations.
He expressed heartiest sympathies with the affected families over the loss of human lives and properties due to storm and rains in different areas of the province. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.
