ISLAMABAD: Former cricketer and Deputy Minister of Provisional Councils and Regional Development of Sri Lanka Sanath Jayasuriya Friday visited Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Headquarters here.
PTA Chairman Dr Ismail Shah welcomed him and briefed about working of PTA and telecom sector of Pakistan.
Sanath Jayasuriya also met with representatives of cellular mobile operators to seek information on investment opportunities in the telecom sector and attended a presentation of ITU Regional Advisor, Sameer.
The Sri Lankan minister appreciated Pakistan's hospitality during his stay in Islamabad. The PTA chairman presented him a memento on the occasion.
