ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed two pre-arrest bail pleas of the accused involved in a murder case.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa and comprising Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel heard the case through e-court system.

During the course of proceedings, the chief justice remarked that intention of murder was also a crime. Article 324 suggested 10 years sentence for intention of murder, he added.

He remarked that if someone got injured in the incident then separate sentence would be awarded. He remarked that the injured can identify the killer.

He remarked that litigants saved around Rs 2.5 million due to e-Court system. He observed that lawyers travel in aeroplane's business class and stay at five star hotels on the expenses of litigants.

He remarked that it is a constitutional responsibility to provide litigants cheap and rapid justice.

Later, the court after hearing arguments dismissed petitions of Arbab and Mushtaq whom Sindh Police arrested from the Karachi registry.
