Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the PPP would not accept any pressure and would continue its struggle and fight against the so-called accountability. The PPP chairman expressed these views while talking to media persons here at Polyclinic Hospital after inquiring after his paternal aunt Faryal Talpur who was shifted to hospital due to high blood sugar level.
He said, "We will fight against the so-called accountability and political victimisation of the opposition leaders." He said that not only Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is victimising politically of its opponent but it is targeting their women. He said that a unanimous message has been given to the world on the issue of Kashmir but the PTI government wants to divide the nation.
"If I will not say the Prime Minster as selected prime minister then what will I say? This government is cravenness and is afraid of women. The PPP would not accept pressure and continue its struggle. The government cannot gag our voice," he said.
Bilawal said that Faryal Talpur could not be discharged from the hospital without permission of doctors. He said that the doctors say that she has heart problem and infection issues and would stay in the hospital for two days.
Earlier, Faryal Talpur was shifted in Polyclinic Hospital on Friday after high blood sugar level. She was taken to the hospital at 05:00am by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Faryal Talpur has been under house-arrest at Zardari House Islamabad since June 14 after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) rejected her bail plea in the money laundering case. She is being investigated in money laundering and fake accounts case. She was arrested by NAB on June 14 for alleged money laundering through fake bank accounts.
The NAB had declared her house in Islamabad as a sub-jail. Meanwhile, President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPP-P) Asif Ali Zardari has said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a man who is not afraid of being arrested. Responding to a question of a reporter in the lobby of the Parliament House about rumours about Bilawal Bhutto's expected arrest, Zardari replied that Bilawal Bhutto is a 'man' and he is not afraid of being arrested.
