According to Mid-day.com Bollywood actress Tabu refused to appear in Zoya Akhtar’s forthcoming film as she didn’t want to play the role of an old mother.
The 42-year-old actress, who was last seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Jai Ho’, was asked to play mother to Priyanka Chopra which she thought didn’t suit her.
"Tabu was approached to star in Zoya's film around five months ago but she turned down the role in the first meeting as she didn’t think she suited the part,” Mid-day.com quoted a source saying
On the other hand, ‘Queen’ director Vikas Bahl is reportedly planning to rope in Tabu and Shahid Kapoor in his next directorial venture. If rumours are to be believed director wants Tabu to play Shahid Kapoor’s love interest in the film.
