LAHORE: The talks between the government team and Tehreek Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri were held here at the Tehrik Minhajul Quran Secretariat Sunday on the Islamabad Long March Declaration.
Prior to the formal meeting, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Mushahid Hussain Syed met the TMQ chief at his office.
Ch Shujaat, Amin Fahim, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Farooq Sattar, Khursheed Shah, Babar Ghauri, Abbas Afridi, Pervez Elahi and Mushahid Hussain Syed represented the government side.
During the meeting, Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira told that all cases against the participants of sit-in had been withdrawn.
