DI KHAN: Unidentified gunmen opened firing on a van on Bannu, DI Khan road here on Sunday, killing four persons and injuring three others, police said.
The incident occurred at Sheikh Yusaf Chowk, where a vehicle carrying traders of vegetable market was ambushed by unidentified outlaws.
As result, Anaus Gul, his brother Ahsan GUl resident of Tauseefabad DI Khan, Fazal son of Khudabakhsh and Muhammad Abid son of Qadir Khan have been killed on the spot while three others sustained critical bullets wounds.
The injured were shifted to District Headquarters' Hospital (DHQ) DI Khan.
The motive behind the gory incident could not be immediately ascertained.
Police have started investigation after registration a case.
