CHICAGO: Spot basis offers for US soymeal were mostly unchanged at processors in both the rail and truck markets on Tuesday, dealers said.
Demand was ticking higher, an Indiana dealer said, as end users locked in coverage for August.
Although the basis was mostly steady, offers fell by $2 per ton in Decatur, Indiana.
Dealers continued to roll their basis offers to the Chicago Board of Trade September soymeal futures contract from the August contract.
