RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 52503.29 with a negative change of 365.72 and volume of 48,218,210 shares.

High and Low were 52874.63 and 52455.44 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 220,296,360 shares with 346 total traded companies out of which 153 were up, 185 were down and 8 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 74,914,600 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 30,476,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement(R) with a volume of 56,557,000 and price per share of 2.92 (0.48), Engro Polymer with a volume 14,871,000 of price per share of 32.60 (0.55), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 13,403,500 of price per share of 25.55 (0.50).

The top three advancers were Rafhan MaizeXD with price per share 7300.00 (50.00), Jubile Life Ins with price per share of 732.75 (31.90) and ICI Pakistan share of 1220.00 (30.77).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2570.00 (82.41), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1680.00 (52.33) and Service Ind.Ltd XD per share of 1461.00 (14.00).
