KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Friday having 50742.03 points with a negative change of 214.57 and volume of 76,376,580 shares.
High and Low were 51197.27 and 50666.13 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 345,047,130 shares with 404 total traded companies out of which 243 were up 153 were down and 8 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 68,616,100 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE SPINNING with a total traded volume of 55,911,700 shares.
The three top traded companies were Silk Bank Ltd with a volume of 24,301,500 and price per share of 1.91 (0.04), Summit Bank with a volume 21,457,000 of price per share of 6.63 (0.29), Kohinoor Spining with a volume 16,240,500 of price per share of 7.22 (0.76).
The top three advancers were Exide (PAK) with price per share 952.35 (45.35), Bhanero Tex. with price per share of 882.93 (42.04) and Shield Corp. share of 682.00 (24.00).
