Pakistan bowling unit have been a victim to a good deal of thrashing by the potent Aussies batting line up, throughout the series. Adding to the woes, Pakistans fast bowler Muhammad Amir has injured himself during the training session.
Amir will not be available for the remained of the ongoing third Test match at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Amir has undergone MRI scans, after suffering strain in his left intercostals muscle.
The fast bowler would need 3 to4 days to recover, however the good news is Amir would be available for the upcoming ODI series.
"Amir has returned to the ground after the scans. The MRI reveals a mark showing strain," informed PCB Director of Media, Amjad Hussain on Friday, reported Cricbuzz.
"Amir will take 3-4 days to recover and will be available for the ODI series in Australia. He will be unavailable to bowl in the third Test in Sydney but will be available to bat if required."
