ROTTERDAM: Soymeal on the European meals and feeds market firmed slightly on Friday in sympathy with CBOT soymeal futures on worries over the condition of the US corn and soybean crops.
* "In a pretty quiet day with little fresh leads to make a market cash prices mostly followed Chicago," one broker said.
* South American soymeal was offered between unchanged and $4 a tonne up from Thursday following Chicago soymeal futures.
* Nov/Jan high-protein EU soymeal changed hands at $643 a tonne fob Rotterdam and EU 44/7 soymeal traded at $573 a tonne fob Rotterdam for Nov/Jan.
* EU rapemeal was offered between one euro a tonne down and one euro down from Thursday, mostly following little changed rapeseed futures, with both buyers and sellers showing little interest making business. No trades were reported.
