KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), on Tuesday organized Quran khawani and fateha across the country including Karachi to observe the death anniversary of former prime minister, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Besides Bilawal House, Quran Khawani and fateha were also held at Shah Faisal Colony, Gulistan-e-Johar, Pehelwan goth, which were largely attended by the PPP workers and people.
According to a statement issued by the Bilawal House Media Cell, Quran khawani and fateha were also organized at Nausheroferoz, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar, Matiari, Dadu, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Mitthi in Sindh.
A separate statement issued by Bilawal House Media Cell said that the party leaders and workers also observed the death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in Limrick- Ireland, Jeddah- Saudi Arabia, Chicago- United States, Dubai- United Arab Emirates and London- United Kingdom.
